Before Fisher Brothers\, he was Executive Vice President at Columbia Property Trust and prior to CXP he spent 16 years at Brookfield Properties\, serving most recently as Executive Vice President and Head of the New York and Boston regions. His prior asset management and leasing projects include the ground up development of the 7 million square foot Manhattan West NY\, repositioning of the eight million square foot mixed use project Brookfield Place NY and the transformation / updating of the multi-sector Potsdamer Platz in Berlin\, Germany. \nCheikin holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis (2003) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Rochester (1997).).

The February 2026 Mayor’s Cup will welcome an extraordinary 980 teams\, including 64 international teams\, competing on 77 fields throughout the Las Vegas Valley and playing more than 2\,200 games. \nHundreds of scouts will line the sidelines as families\, coaches\, and supporters fill hotels\, restaurants\, and venues throughout the valley. Beyond the fields\, the 2026 tournament is projected to generate more than $60 million for the Las Vegas economy—while giving young athletes confidence\, perspective\, friendships\, and lifelong memories. \nThis is Rotary’s mission in action: supporting youth\, opening doors\, and building global goodwill.
