
Tom Krob

Thomas J Krob has been a member of Las Vegas Rotary since 1986 and served as president in 2000-2001. Mr. Krob graduated Iowa State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After positions in Cincinnati and Oklahoma Mr. Krob moved to Las Vegas in 1981. A professional engineer, Mr. Krob has been licensed to practice in 14 states. In 1986, Mr. Krob started his own engineering firm, TJ Krob Consulting Engineers now TJK Engineers and then opened PK Electrical in Reno. In addition to his membership on the Las Vegas Rotary Board, he has been Chairman of the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, President of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Vice President of Beacon Academy Charter School, and a member of the Las Vegas Boy Scout Council Advisory Board. Mr. Krob also belongs to many professional associations including the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, International Association of Electrical Inspectors, Illuminating Engineering Society and The Power Engineering Society.
