Karen Whisenhunt is the President and Owner/Operator of OMNI Communications West, a female privately owned communications company located and servicing the Las Vegas, Nevada area since 2002. The company focuses on providing communications for rentals and sales of high-quality commercial two-way radios and accessories. Rental clients include conventions, production companies, security, non-profit special events, sporting activities and commercial enterprises. OMNI Communications West also provides permanent radio communications systems, specializing in small hotels, commercial plants, churches, hospitals, schools and other small businesses. Non-profits and the Military are near-and-dear to Karen’s heart so she offers special discounts for these two groups. Customer service is Karen’s number one goal and she prides herself on providing one-on-one solutions for all her client’s needs.

Karen was born and raised in Alberta, Canada and came to the United States twenty-six years ago when she married her American husband Tom. She naturalized in Las Vegas fourteen years ago, is proud to be an American and equally as proud of her Canadian heritage.

Karen is an active member in her community and has volunteered with various non-profit organizations. She has been in Rotary since 1994 and a member of the Las Vegas Rotary Club since 2002. Karen served as President of the Las Vegas Rotary Club in 2009-2010, is a benefactor and multiple Paul Harris Fellow. As a Rotarian, she has served on many committees, the Board-of-Directors for the Club and the Foundation as well as chairing various Rotary District 5300 activities. Rotary is in her blood and she is proud to be a Rotarian!
